Madeleine completes specialist diagnostic ADHD assessments for children. This typically involves a clinical interview with parent and child and psychometric testing. Madeleine will send hoe forms for the child’s school to complete. The cost for an ADHD assessment is $880.00 and this includes a written report with the child’s history, interview notes and psychometric testing results and recommendations for treatment.

A questionnaire will be sent home for a friend, partner or parent to complete. The cost for ADHD assessment is $880.00 and this incudes a written report and recommendations.

Madeleine is an affiliate of some of Victoria’s largest Employee Assistance Providers. Please go through your organization to organize EAP if this is an option for you. These interventions are generally between 3 to 6 sessions long and are solutions focused in nature. EAP sessions are paid for by your employer, so no fees are charged from Recalibrate Psychology to you.

Madeleine is an accredited emergency services healthcare provider with a provider number for Police Health and Emergency Services Health funds through the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG). This means if you have extras cover with a policy from of these health funds you get $850 per year for individual or couples counselling funded.

Bulk billing means that the client has obtained a mental health care plan from their GP and they attend the clinic and pay no fee for their session. Madeleine is happy to bulk bill children/adolescents in situations where the family is under financial stress.

Madeleine is an approved provider for claims through Bupa, Medibank and AHM. Depending on your level of cover you may be eligible to claim on your extras insurance for counselling with Madeleine. Please note this is only for Counselling and not for psychological testing, reports or court appearances.

Please provide 24 hours notice when cancelling your session. Failing to do this means that someone could have used that appointment time and the psychologist would have prepared for the session for no reason. If you fail to give 24 hours notice for your appointment a fee of half of your appointment cost will be charged and you will not be able to use Medicare or insurance to cover this.

Madeleine will claim from Medicare for you, so long as you have a care plan and Medicare card. The gap fee will then be emailed to you and you can pay via bank transfer within 7 days.
